Hawley is one of the smallest towns in Massachusetts, with roughly 300 residents spread across steep, wooded terrain. There are no stores, no gas stations, and no services. What there are: homes that need heat six months a year.

The housing is rural in the truest sense. Old farmhouses, converted barns, and modest homes on dirt roads. Oil and propane heat everything, and wood stoves provide critical backup during extended cold snaps.

Our contractors serve Hawley as part of their hilltown route through Charlemont, Heath, and Plainfield. It's not a special trip. It's part of the job.
